Temple Canyon is less than a week away! Who’s ready? Who’s not?
We are trying to get a car count if possible for the car meet on friday night before temple canyon, So, if you are planning on attending with your vehicle please let us know so that we can try and get a car count for the racer’s meet on friday.
Just a quick reminder that the monthly meeting is this Tuesday May 7th at 7 PM at American Legion Post #5 15 E. Platte Ave Colorado Springs, CO 80903. It is the last meeting before the first race, and all input is welcome! Please come if you can make it! We hope to see you there!
Meet with the drivers participating in the Temple Canyon Hill Climb. Check out the cars and have photo ops! This is a FREE event open to all ages 5 – 8 PM. Tickets for the Hill Climb May 18 & 19 will be available. The Espolon Tequila Girls will be at The Neon with samples and promo products to give away. Directions to The Neon Bottle.
The Temple Canyon Hill Climb will be our first event of the season! It will take place in Canon City, CO on the Temple Canyon Rd! This is a family friendly event and tickets are just $15 and provide access for both days of racing (Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th)! Racing will start at 8 AM on Saturday and 9 AM on Sunday. It’s going to be a good time and you don’t want to miss out! Directions to Temple Canyon Rd.
Don’t forget, the final pre-season Tech Inspection is tomorrow, Saturday at 10am at Salta Service & Performance in Denver. Tech before the first race helps things move along and ensures everyone gets the most practice runs possible!

The Colorado Springs tech inspection and Safety Training is THIS Saturday starting at 10 AM. This is the first of two tech inspections that will void the $25 tech inspection fee. We will also be holding a car show so you can bring your ride or come out and check out some cool cars! Come on out to the Norris Penrose Event Center on SATURDAY to look at some of the unique vehicles that will be competing in the hill climb races this year!
CHCA has purchased a spot in the annual Canon City apple blossom festival parade on Saturday May 4th. We want to have a good showing at this event so if your car or bike is ready, please attend the parade. It’s no charge, and very good publicity for the Temple Canyon Hill Climb. If you are interested in participating in this event please contact Erny Shucraft. We hope to see everyone there!
