The Colorado Springs tech inspection and Safety Training is THIS Saturday starting at 10 AM. This is the first of two tech inspections that will void the $25 tech inspection fee. We will also be holding a car show so you can bring your ride or come out and check out some cool cars! Come on out to the Norris Penrose Event Center on SATURDAY to look at some of the unique vehicles that will be competing in the hill climb races this year!
CHCA has purchased a spot in the annual Canon City apple blossom festival parade on Saturday May 4th. We want to have a good showing at this event so if your car or bike is ready, please attend the parade. It’s no charge, and very good publicity for the Temple Canyon Hill Climb. If you are interested in participating in this event please contact Erny Shucraft. We hope to see everyone there!
REMINDER The CHCA annual chili cook off is TONIGHT from 6-8 PM at the Mill Hill Saloon located at 1668 S. 21st Street, Colorado Springs, Co 80904.Bring your best Chili to enter in the cook off. Earn bragging rights for the year with a nice prize for best Chili. $10.00 All You Can Eat or $5.00 a bowl. Voting rights come with purchase. We need raffle prizes so please bring an item for the raffle. Stay after for some dancing. Note: Kids are more than welcome to come, but the Mill Hill Saloon does not allow kids after 9 PM.

A couple of weeks ago, Cam Sale Film Dept suggest an optional media fee. This fee would be optional and not required for every competitor. If you are still on the fence about the media fee, here is an example of what you would get when paying the optional fee. If you have any questions please contact us or Cam himself!
This will be the Denver technical inspection for the 2019 season. It will be held at Salta Motorsports at 1001 E 75th Ave a, Denver, CO 80229 on April 27th from 10 AM to 4 PM (Inclement weather will move the event indoors). There is event is free to everyone. So, come and meet the drivers and look at some of the cars that will be competing in our 2019 season!
*If a driver does not attend a technical inspection in Colorado Springs or Denver, they will be a $25 technical inspection fee added to the entry at the event that the vehicle is inspected.

We need volunteers! On March 23rd CHCA will be working a concession stand at the Broadmoor World Arena for the Disney on Ice show as a fundraiser. This video was made by Cam Sale from Monarch last year. Cam was at most of the races last year filming the racing. He wants to continue filming for the club but can’t continue without some help. At the monthly meeting Cam suggested that there could be an OPTIONAL media fee that would help cover the cost. This fee would be OPTIONAL and only if the driver signed up for the media fee! What would be the advantage of signing up for the media fee? Cam would provide a short 15 second introduction that everyone would get, and 45 seconds of just the assigned car. Fees would range from $30-50. Drivers! Please let us know if you like the idea! If you have any questions feel free to contact CHCA or Cam Sale Film Dept and we will do our best to answer them.
