The Lands End Hill Climb will be the 4th event on the CHCA calendar! It features high speed sections, as well as tight technical sections that challenge the drivers and riders. The event will take place on August 10th and 11th with a racer’s meet Friday August 6th! Tickets are $15 for the whole weekend and is an event for all ages! You don’t want to miss out

Friday August 9th:

6 AM Gates open
6 AM Safety meeting

7:30 AM Road shut down for practice/qualifying
8 AM – 5 PM Practice/Qualifying runs

Sunday August 11th:
7 AM Gates open
8 AM Driver’s meeting
8:30 AM Road shut down for race
9 AM – 12:30 PM Race run #1 (approx.)
12:30 – 1 PM Lunch break (approx.)
1 – 5 PM Race run #2 (approx.)
5:15 PM Awards ceremony (approx.)

This is the racer’s meet for the 2019 Lands End Hill Climb! The event will take place from 5-7 PM on Friday night before the race on Saturday! The restaurant is located at 2565 American Way, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Trucks and Trailers can be parked across the street at the American Furniture Warehouse!

This will be CHCA’s 3rd race of the season up Forest Rd 228 near the Monarch Mountain Lodge! Tickets are just $15 for the entire weekend, all ages are welcome, so you do not want to miss out!

Friday:
Check in will be from 4-6 PM at the Monarch Mountain Lodge.

Saturday:
Driver’s meeting at 7 AM in the Mountain Lodge lobby.
Road closes at 7:15 AM
Practice/Qualifying from 8 AM – 5 PM

Sunday:
Drivers meeting at 8 AM in the Mountain Lodge lobby.
Road closes at 8:15 AM
Race run #1 approximately from 9 AM – 12 PM
Lunch break approximately from 12 PM -12:30 PM
Race run #2 approximately from 12:30 PM – 5 PM
Awards ceremony at the Monarch Mountain Lodge approximately 5:15 PM

Just a reminder for those of you that are making the race this weekend! The turn off for County Rd 116 which is the road you will take for the race course is just south of mile marker 53 on HWY 139. On the opposite side of 116 to the east is a Rest Area. Once you turn off onto 116 the pit area is roughly 4.5 miles down the road.

Rangely is this weekend! You don’t want to miss out!
